Choose the Right Makeup for your Skin Colour
Basically, there are two colour palettes when considering makeup, warm and cool.
Warm colours include plum, cream, taupe and copper and complement brunettes.
Cool colours include blue-grey, teal, white, pink and lavender and suit blondes whilst terracotta, peach, moss-green and grey shades look great on redheads. If in doubt, come and see me and I will help you find the colour palette that suits your complexion.
Waterproof Mascara is Essential
Weddings can be emotional affairs so be prepared for the odd tear by wearing waterproof mascara.
Use Foundation, Concealer and Powder
Even if you don't normally use these products I would recommend you use them for your wedding day as they will even out your skin tone and give you a smooth complexion. Make sure the products match your skin tone as naturally as possible.
Don't make any Changes to Your Makeup Before Your Wedding
I would recommend you don't make any changes to your skincare routine or makeup products in the weeks leading up to your wedding if you want your skin to look as flawless as possible. I would suggest you avoid a facial before your wedding day unless you have them regularly. I facial will just cause the impurities to come to the surface and cause breakouts.
